Let me be perfectly clear!

While the Covid 19 virus runs amok throughout the UK, our government in all its wisdom, chose not to listen to the advice of the World Health Organisation, medical experts and disease control specialists to put a plan in place to help us get ahead of the pandemic. Despite nearly three months warning before our first confirmed case, they decided to allow large public gatherings to go ahead and released sick elderly people from hospital back into care homes. As a result of these bad decisions, we now have one of the highest rates of infection per capita in the World. At a time when we need reliable, capable and strong leadership we have instead, an arrogant, ignorant and blustering Prime Minister who prefers to take advice from a man whose greatest achievement was to lie to the people during the Brexit campaign and thus swung the vote in favour of Leave. Johnson himself was a victim of the virus after having ignored all advice not to shake hands with people or attend mass gatherings. He was saved by the valiant efforts of the NHS for which he claims to be forever indebted but has only approved a pittance of a pay rise for nurses and nothing for the other frontline workers. As with the Trump presidency, we have someone in charge who has no idea how to govern and who thinks that if he stands before a podium, talks waffle and waves his fist about that we will all feel so much safer.
