Damn Liberty!

This portrait of Margaret Thatcher was done to represent her book tour of the United States in 1993.  Although she had resigned as PM in 1990, she was still greatly admired across the pond where little was known of the ramifications of her tenure in Downing Street and how she devided the North and the South. There was also much press speculation at the time that her son Mark had used his mother’s influence to broker business deals and gain enormous personal wealth.
